Katie began working with dogs in 2017 as a dog walker and sitter. Her passion for dog training began in 2018 when she adopted a fearful German Shepherd puppy who she named Phoebe. Katie worked with several trainers to help work through Phoebe's human reactivity and over-arousal. Katie fell in love with the training process and became fascinated by dog behavior. In 2022 she completed the PhoenixK9 Training program and began working full-time as a pack walker and dog trainer. Katie loves to help people better their relationship with their dogs. She can relate to owners who have dogs that are struggling with behavioral issues. Katie continues to learn from other trainers to expand her knowledge and widen her skill set.
